COMMISSIONS AND DISCOUNTS
Frequency discounts - Advertising must be inserted within one year of first insertion to earn the 6x or 12x frequency discount rate. To earn the 3x rate, insertions must be completed in a 6-month period. Frequency rates may also be earned by running 3,6, or 12 advertisements in the same issue(s). Different sized ads may be combined to earn frequency discounts within a contract years.
Agency discounts - 15% agency commissions allowed to recognized agencies - an individual or group of individuals handling a minimum of three clients who make the media selection, handle the order within the deadlines, coordinate and process the space placed, submit all advertisements in camera-ready form, furnish and prepay all transportation charges on all printed material submitted and assume financial responsibility plus process prompt payment under the terms of this rate card. Agency commissions will only be paid on invoices paid within 60 days.
No commissions on production charges including bleed and color charges.
Credit earned by increasing frequency during a contract year will apply toward future billing or space. No cash rebates will be made.
CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Credit may be granted to advertisers able to demonstrate a record of prompt payment of bills. We reserve the right to charge cash-in-advance.
Rates subject to change upon 30 days notice in writing from publisher.
Publisher reserves the right to repeat the last standing ad or to charge for space reserved if acceptable copy is not received by deadline.
An advertiser who fails to complete a committed schedule within the contract period will be subject to a short rate. Such cancellations will not be accepted after the closing date for space and must be in writing. The amount of the short rate is the difference between the order and the actual earned rate.
Cancellation of any portion of a contract voids all rate and position protection.
The publisher reserves the right to cancel or reject any advertising, which in his/her opinion does not conform to the standards of the publication.
The publisher reserves the right to identify as "advertisment" any ads that appear in the magazine.
Publisher reserves the right to hold advertiser and/or its advertising agency jointly and severely liable for such moneys as are due and payable to publisher.
The publisher is not responsible for errors in key numbers.
All advertisements are accepted and published by the publisher upon the representation that the agency and advertiser are authorized to publish the entire contents and subject matter thereof. Advertiser and agency agree to indemnify and save the publisher harmless from any loss or expense arising out of publication of such advertisements, including, without limitations, those resulting from claims or suit for libel, violation of rights of privacy, or copyright infringement.
Publisher's liability for any error will not exceed the cost of space occupied by such error.
Proofs will not be provided if ad is received after ad copy deadlines.

Line screen: 133 recommended, 150 maximum
Negatives: right reading, emulsion side down;
Final trip size: 8 ½" x 11";
Bleed: add ¼" on each side of trip;
Binding method: saddle stitched.
Copy accepted: reproduction proofs, engraver's film or color separation suitable for offset lithography.
Do not submit original paste-ups. Halftone artwork (inc, screens) and/or black & white photos suitable for offset lithography should be submitted separately in the form of negatives to be stripped into ad.
ISSUE AND CLOSING DATES
Space deadlines 14th of month preceding cover date.
Art deadline 18th of month preceding cover date.
Published monthly and mailed within the first week of the month.
No cancellations accepted after space deadline.
When change of copy is not received by the closing date, copy run in previous issue will be inserted. Publisher reserves the right to bill the advertiser for the space ordered.
Cannot guarantee corrections if materials are received after closing dates.
