ON THE COVER:
Oceano FD and Cal Fire operated at a RV fire on
the Oceano Dunes in February. The trailer
was located four miles south of the main
entrance, limiting access to four wheel drive
rigs. Limited water, propane and
ruptured fuel storage tanks hampered
extinguishing efforts. The trailer was
a total loss upon the arrival of Patrol
6165. No injuries were reported, and
Engine 3473 assisted Oceano with mop up.
