Homeland Security/WMD Committee

Purpose:

To provide a resource for the members dealing with specific problems within Homeland Security/WMD. To attend the annual CSFA Conference and submit written committee reports to include oral reports when needed.

Goals of Homeland Security/WMD Committee

• To work with CSFA's Legislative Advocate and General Manager on analysis and recommendations relative to current legislative bills.

• To develop necessary homeland security/WMD resolutions and to view federal and state laws on storage and transportation of hazardous materials

• To seek grants which would provide money for Homeland Security/WMD training in California, and to fund fire departments throughout the state for proper response vehicles and equipment.

Hazmat Sub-Comittee Goals
