California Casualty Announces Identity Theft Resolution Service

California Casualty proudly introduces Identity Theft Resolution Service, a new benefit automatically available to our CSFA customers at no extra cost. This important service is designed to give their policyholders a sense of security in a time of increasing concern over identity theft.

"Because we want every customer to have access to this vital service, we have decided to provide it as a free benefit to all of our policyholders beginning January 1, 2007," said Beau Brown, California Casualty's Chief Executive Officer. "This places us in rare company, since most companies require the purchase of additional coverage to qualify for identity theft assistance."

Every day, 19,000 people discover their identity has been stolen. America's fastest growing crime, identity theft doesn't discriminate—its victims are of all ages, lifestyles and income levels. Without professional assistance, victims often spend more than 20 work days recovering from this crime. Additionally, many don't know what to do first in resolving this situation where immediate and focused action is crucial.

Now, with Identity Theft Resolution Service, California Casualty customers have help standing by should they discover that their identity has been stolen or compromised. They have partnered with Identity Theft 911, LLC, America's leader in identity theft resolution, to provide their customers with expert assistance in resolving their situation quickly and thoroughly should they fall victim to this crime. This free and automatic service includes:

  • a fraud specialist assigned as personal advocate for the entire resolution process.
  • direct assistance with agency notifications, report filings and documentation.
  • one full year of credit and fraud monitoring.
  • assistance replacing documents lost to a theft, home disaster or while traveling.
