The Richard L. Resurreccion Public Safety Scholarship

Dear Friends of Dr. Richard L. Resurreccion:

The International Public Safety Leadership and Ethics Institute (IPSLEI), a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Corporation, has proudly established the Richard L. Resurreccion Public Safety Scholarship. The scholarship is available to college and university students who demonstrate academic and professional excellence while enrolled in regionally accredited academic degree programs. The Scholarship honors
Dr. Richard L. Resurrection Ed.D, who is widely known for his expertise in the areas of public safety, technology and emergency management. Dr. Resurreccion has dedicated over 50 years to public and academic service.

IPSLEI is now engaged in the process of endowing the scholarship program. The scholarship has been developed in partnership with the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society Foundation, who manages the scholarship and endowment on our behalf. In our effort to complete the endowment we are holding our inaugural scholarship fundraising event on November 1, 2013, at the prestigious Old Ranch Country Club, in Seal Beach, California. This gala not only serves to support the scholarship but also more importantly honors Dr. Resurreccion on his golden anniversary as an educator and his 70th birthday.

I have attached an informational flyer for you that provides some of the details of the event. We will be
providing updates on the evenings activities and our exciting travel experience silent auction on our
website at www.IPSLEI.org.

Dr. Resurreccion has touched the lives of many successful individuals who have gone on to be active leaders in all walks of life, from sports figures to military personnel to scores of executive level public safety leaders. I for one, have accomplished many professional and personal goals because of "Res" and his always-positive approach to my growth. I know he did the same for you.

Please join us on November 1, 2013 and honor a legacy in personal and professional development by supporting the Richard L. Resurreccion Public Safety Scholarship. If you are unable to attend please visit our website Gala Registration form where you can make a direct donation to the scholarship.
