CSFA 2018 photo contest sponsored by California Casualty seeks submissions

Cash prizes available!

CSFA and California Casualty have launched a photo contest designed to highlight California’s fire service. The contest is open to all photographers, and subjects can include any aspect of the state’s fire and emergency response.

To enter photographers should take high quality (at least 500 kb, 1 mb preferred) digital photos. Email each entry as a jpg attachment to firephoto@csfa.net and provide a brief description (location of the incident, responding agency(s) and date the photograph was taken). Entries shall not have any text, “water mark” or logo on them. Photographers may enter up to five photographs per week.

Photos will be featured on CSFA’s Instagram, and winners will be determined by compiling votes made by CSFA Instagram users who will vote until the closing date of each quarterly contest. Prices consisting of gift cards courtesy of California Casualty will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners ($200, $75, $25) each quarter. Honorable mention prizes shall consist of e-mailed certificates suitable for framing.

All first place quarterly winners will be entered into the Photo of the Year contest for a chance at a $300.00 prize, and to be featured on the cover of The California Fire Service magazine.

The 2018 first quarter contest is open now, and closes March 31, 2018 at midnight. See full contest rules here. Questions? Email firephoto@csfa.net.
