CSFA endorses Megan Dahle in August 27 special election

CSFA has endorsed Republican Megan Dahle in her campaign for the First Assembly District special election to fill the seat previously held by her husband, Assemblyman Brian Dahle, who was elected to the State Senate in June. The special election is slated for Tuesday, Aug. 27.
Megan and her husband are dry land wheat farmers. Megan Dahle's political experience includes a term on the Big Valley Joint Unified School Board.
"Megan Dahle will be a leading voice in Sacramento to improve forest management, speed up response times and provide firefighters and first responders the tools they need to keep our communities safe," stated CSFA President Michael Shrout, in announcing the endorsement. "We look forward to working with Megan in the Assembly and across the 1st Assembly District.
In addition to CSFA, Dahle enjoys endorsements from many in public safety including seven county sheriffs in the Assembly District and California Professional Firefighters.
The first Assembly District is geographically one of the largest in the state and includes all of Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou and parts of Butte and Placer Counties.
