Firefighters visit San Diego Zoo Safari Park FREE during the month of September

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park would like to thank our hard-working firefighters who help to protect people, animals, and structures across our region. We are grateful for their commitment to our safety!

To express our gratitude, we are providing free admission to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park to active-duty firefighters for the entire month of September—and up to six accompanying family members or friends get 10 percent off the 1-Day Pass admission. Present an active firefighter ID card with photo (i.e. department ID or Union ID) plus a personal ID at any Safari Park ticket window to gain entry. Please see below for additional information:

  • Valid ONLY at the Safari Park. 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido, CA 92027
  • Duration – entire month of September, no block out dates. September 1 – 30, 2019
  • Valid only for active duty firefighters. Active duty firefighters include: career firefighters, wild-land firefighters, volunteer firefighters and fire marshals, anywhere in the US. Any and all active duty firefighters who have an active firefighter ID with photo (either department ID or Union ID) and a matching personal ID
  • Africa Tram is included
  • Conservation carousel is NOT included
  • Accompanying guests – Credentialed firefighter (Free) and 10% off 1-Day Pass for up to 6 accompanying guests
  • Policy – must show Firefighter ID and personal ID at ticket window on day of visit to receive tickets
