Fund established in support of LODD of Long Beach Fire Captain

A fund in support of Long Beach Fire Captain David Rosa, who was fatally shot in the line of duty on June 25 while responding to an emergency incident, has been established by the Friends of Long Beach Firefighters. Sworn firefighters fly free to pay respects to Captain David Rosa

Long Beach Firefighters Local 372 is thankful to announce that JetBlue Airways is offering free fights to Long Beach, California for any sworn firefighter in the United States to attend memorial services for Brother Dave Rosa. 

Services for Captain Rosa will be July 3, at 10 am at the Long Beach Arena in downtown Long Beach. Brother and sister firefighters from around the nation will be able to fly free to pay respects to Brother Dave Rosa, who died in the line of duty on June 25. 

To book a flight call 1 800-JetBlue (538-2583) and ask for Fallen Officer Booking and mention Fallen Fire Captain David Rosa. Be prepared to give the following info: - Fire Department name and local #, badge number, and fire department e-mail.

The offer is valid for up to two (2) members from any one department, for travel up to 3 days before and 3 days after the services for travel to Long Beach Airport (LGB).
