Captain Dick Brown is the esteemed Chaplain of the CSFA, serving with the Calaveras Consolidated Fire Protection District in beautiful Calaveras County, California. With an impressive 34-year tenure, Captain Brown brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate spirit to his role.

Chaplaincy is not just a profession for Captain Dick Brown; it is his true calling. His journey towards becoming a Chaplain began several years ago when he discovered an undeniable passion for serving others. Uncertain at first whether it was his personal desire or a divine plan, he now knows that it was indeed a divine calling. Throughout his service, he has been grateful for the numerous opportunities that have allowed him to serve a higher purpose.

Captain Brown is an active member of esteemed organizations such as the Federation of Fire Chaplains, California Fire Chaplain Association, and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. He is deeply committed to his role, providing unwavering spiritual support and guidance to his fellow firefighters in times of need.

Beyond his responsibilities within the fire district, Captain Brown also serves as a Chaplain for Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas. His dedication extends beyond the boundaries of a single organization, as he strives to make a positive impact in the lives of those he encounters.
