Geared towards 14-20-year-olds in existing Fire Explorer programs, this action-packed day promises excitement, adventure, and invaluable experiences. This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Events
Event 1: Bunker and Hose Roll Relay
Participants: 4 Explorers
Equipment Needed: Full Turnouts- Helmet, Turnout Jacket, Turnout Pants, Turnout Boots, Hood, Gloves.
Equipment Supplied: TBD is equipment can be provided for agencies needing assistance
Event 2: Hose Drag Relay
Participants: 4 Explorers
Equipment Needed: Physical Training Gear (shirt, shorts, & tennis shoes), Helmet and Gloves”
Equipment Supplied: 100′ of 2 ½”” Hose
Event 3: Make and Break Drag Relay
Participants: 4 Explorers
Equipment Needed: Physical Training Gear, Helmet, and Gloves
Equipment Supplied: Pumping Apparatus (3) 50′ sections of 2 1/2 Hose, 1- Smooth Bore Nozzle, Gated Wye
Event 4: Bucket Brigade
Participants: 5 Explorers
Equipment Needed: Physical Training Gear, Helmet, and Gloves
Equipment Supplied: Brigade Buckets and Pails
Please note: Families are recommended to bring folding chairs, easy ups and additional food as the food provided will be for the explorers and instructors.
