After months of planning and behind-the-scenes work, CSFA’s newly enhanced website launched earlier this week to rave reviews. (If you haven’t yet checked it out, do so here at www.csfa.net). The eye-catching design and simple-to-navigate site had to retain all of the online functions of the previous version along with adding new features.
“The new CSFA.net website uses some of the most advanced association management and website technologies available today,” noted CSFA Technology Manager Monty Gearhart. “This allows CSFA.net to adapt and evolve as even newer technologies arise. The website is faster, more user friendly and now displays CSFA content in a more useful and readable manner. With the addition of Trinity Audio, members can now enjoy articles being “spoken” to them if they are unable to read content safely while performing duties or other activities.”
“It was a challenging project, learning new software,” added CSFA Member Services Manager Esteban Sandoval, “but we feel the end result is much better online experience for our members.”
Gearhart and Sandoval were assisted on the months-long project by CSFA newly-hired staffers Marketing and Communications Coordinator Felicia Coyle and Administrative Assistant Frankie Fullerton as the final steps of the project came to fruition over the last eight weeks.
In addition to the new design, members will notice the following enhancements:
- Easier account password recovery.
- Simpler member join processes.
- Recurring dues payment capabilities so you can “set it and forget it”.
- Ability to process monthly payments for those that prefer a monthly credit card payment.
- A dedicated membership/benefits portal so that all of these features are in a single and easily accessible/secure location.
- Better video handling from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and other video platforms.
- Much faster website load speeds.
- Improved mobile device display.
- Improved site search capabilities
- Greatly enhanced training and events calendar with the ability to automatically pull event content from numerous resources simultaneously.
- Enhanced membership profiles and customizable membership dashboards.
