Living not far from the Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival grounds, is something we visit every year. Sometimes several times a week. It’s a great place for music, food, fun and local artist showing their homemade artwork.
One of my favorites to visit is Artisan Night Lights. Gwen and Carl Lind are Orange County California based and are both Father & Daughter artists who collectively have sold their art through hundreds of galleries nation-wide since 1997. They are also big supporter of First Responders. They compose each piece of art and design and build artisan night lights, accent lamps, magnets and more. Every year I purchase lights with different designs for gifts.
Not only is their art beautiful done, but they are also the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They are quick to welcome and make you feel comfortable. Last year I asked Carl and Gwen if they could special order and make night lights with the Verdugo Fire Academy logo. Without hesitation they said “sure!” Within no time, Carl had a draft version that was perfect. I ordered approximately twenty for Verdugo Fire Academy Staff members and some of our Area C Fire Chiefs for Christmas presents. They were a hit!
This year I asked Carl if he could do one with a CSFA logo. I sent him the logo, and within 48 hours it was done! And well done as well! I would be remiss if I did not share this article and images with you.
Whether fire service, law enforcement or any special requests let your light shine in 2025. You can reach Artisan Night Lights at 714 742 – 1092 or visit their website at www.artisannightlights.com
Happy New Year!
