Over 100 members of the fire and first responders community from throughout the state were on hand for the grand opening event on July 7 at Prevent Training Solutions in downtown Riverside. Tours of the state-of-the-art training facility that is located at 3850 Vine Street were given and then guests enjoyed a catered lunch. CSFA members receive a 25% discount on all training offered by Prevent. Here is information on upcoming classes.

Housed in an historic three-story brick building that was once home to an armaments factory, the second floor headquarters of Prevent features classrooms outfitted with custom made desks, and high definition flat screen audio visual components all amid a space that tastefully pays homage to the state’s current and past fire service. In addition to the classrooms, a simulated Emergency Ops Center, faculty prep room and podcast studio have been designed.

Riverside City Fire Department Fire Chief Michael Moore and Hemet Fire Chief and CSFA President Eddie Sell made congratulatory welcoming remarks as did Prevent Training principals President Cody Snow and Vice President of Operations Dave Morgan. Outside of the building Riverside Fire Department, U.S. Forest Service, American Medical Response and CSFA’s RV1 were on hand to help celebrate the grand opening as well.
