The American Red Cross of Greater Long Beach and South Bay is seeking individuals to act as volunteer Disaster Duty Officers (DDOs) to act as the eyes and ears for Red Cross Disaster Action Teams (DATs) responders when they go into communities to serve those who have lost their homes to disasters.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for current or retired firefighters. Requirements are a willingness to learn, access to a computer with reliable internet connection, and availability for two six-hour shifts per month.
